Two engineers set out on a mission to paint a new picture in the field of education and make a real difference in the lives of students.
They had the zeal and wanted to truly provide the help that students needed while preparing for competitive exams. This burning desire is what led to the inception of EduTap in the year 2016.
Deepak Garg, a UPSC aspirant himself, had already faced all the hardships a student goes through in this journey. He could personally relate to all those problems and wanted to be the guide for his students that he never got.
Supporting Deepak at every step of the way was his partner, Anchit Garg.
Anchit, with his love for mentoring students, had faith that with a clear intention, nothing is impossible.
Together, they began this institution, EduTap, which now serves as a safe space where students feel guided, mentored, and reassured every day while moving towards their goals.
What Does EduTap Do?
They provide mentorship for various government exams like regulatory body positions and IIBF certifications. The students studying with them are mostly young aspirants in the age group of 21–30.
This is the time when crucial decisions are taken and life trajectories drawn. Thus, the idea here is to not just provide exam information but create an environment that nourishes young minds and provides holistic growth.
How Are They Doing It?
A lot goes behind achieving all that is promised. To provide such an environment to all their students, they conduct various events and workshops. This keeps their students up-to-date and boosts their confidence. Some of the endeavors include:
- Workshops and Webinars
Workshops and webinars are conducted to provide a space where a lot of knowledge transfer can be done. They also provide an excellent platform for student-teacher interaction.
- Masterclass and Expert Talks
EduTap arranges masterclasses for its students frequently. Experts from various ranks and institutions are invited to talk and share their experiences with students. One example is where senior RBI officials discuss ‘Life at RBI’ and everything a student is keen to know. This includes job profiles, promotions, training, and a lot more.
- Mentor Talks
This is where mentors take to the stage and share their valuable lessons and insights with the students, thus showing them the way.
Students are encouraged to ask questions and get answers to all their queries.
- Boot Camps
To provide practice sessions in a short but intensive manner, boot camps are also organized. These last for 2–3 days.
- 1:1 Strategy Calls with the Faculty
Students have the option to get a strategy call with the faculty. This is for them to have more clarity as far as their preparation journey is concerned.
