“Teej is a festival celebrated by women across India. It is also known as the ‘festival of women’. This day is going to be observed with great happiness and jubilance by women, says Seema Bali. “Being a woman I have always loved supporting my fellow women’s growth in their respective fields and what better day it can be than teej to acknowledge their efforts. So, I planned a small gathering to show my love for womanhood. Also, where all the women can come together and celebrate the power of being both women and business professionals.”
There will be a warm welcome of guests who will bring in some flavour of the festival with colourful traditional costumes and dance-dhamaal. Keeping the ethos of the festival, various titles like Teej Queen will be given, there will be a ramp walk, complimentary makeup and hairstyling, nail art, live music, photoshoot, talent hunt and many games will be organised. Since it is a celebration of the joys of womanhood, the ladies pampered themselves by indulging in Mehendi application, dressing up and dancing to dhol and Dj alike who belted out songs related to the festival. Moreover, dance performances by young children from “Belle Mente Preschool & Daycare” are the event’s main draws.
